Due to the retirement of our exceptional Birth to 3s Educator, St Paul’s is looking to recruit a pedagogical lead and champion for our youngest learners.

St Paul’s has a long standing legacy for expertise in working with babies and 2s, having been a Centre of Excellence, and now the lead setting for the SW Regional EYs Stronger Practice Hub with birth to 3s specialism, we pride ourselves on our continued researchful and outstanding practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious leader who will:

⁃ Join our leadership team, contributing to vision, strategy, quality assurance and quality improvement
⁃ Lead on birth to 3 pedagogy and practice
⁃ Work with our exceptional staff teams to inspire, motivate and innovate
⁃ Build capacity and leadership across the teams
⁃ Lead on research and wider partnerships, to include strengthening of integrated and area based working
⁃ Host study days and networking events, documenting and showcasing our developing practice
⁃ Promote and market our birth to 3s provision across Bristol and beyond

We are looking for a unique leader, who:

⁃ has extensive knowledge and expertise of working with children from birth to 3, but particularly babies
⁃ has experience of leading and inspiring large complex teams, within diverse communities
⁃ is keen to connect with wider systems leadership opportunities
⁃ is warm, loving, open and models empowering relational leadership
⁃ Is an exceptional communicator
⁃ Is a lifelong learner
