A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, passionate and dynamic Pre-School Teacher to work as part of our Children’s Centre team. We are looking for an experienced early years teacher to lead the managed early education and childcare provision in the Pre-School room at Southmead Children’s Centre.

We want you to join us in creating a safe, warm and caring learning environment both indoors and outdoors which will inspire children to unlock their full potential.

You will lead the Pre-School room, providing support to the teams of Early Year Practitioners in all aspects of the Early Years curriculum, supporting them to evaluate and plan effectively for the next steps of learning for the children in their care ensuring they are providing learning experiences that are of the highest possible quality at all times of the day

You will be responsible for collating the Pre-School children’s assessment data providing an analysis and evaluation to inform the Children’s Centre self-evaluation and improvement plan.

You will work in partnership with parents; to involve them as actively as possible in the learning process.

You will attend, contribute and on occasions lead staff meetings and in-service training, sharing discussion in order to enrich the learning environment for children and enhance the quality of learning and teaching.

We are looking for a qualified teacher who has a good knowledge of the EYFS and has experience of high quality early years’ practice and education across the 3-4 age group.
