We are looking to appoint a reliable, hard working cleaner to undertake general cleaning duties to start in September 2026.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, is able to work independently and is well organised. The role is a permanent contract for 7.5 hours per week, 1.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday during term time plus 3 weeks during school holidays (usually worked one week in the Easter School Holidays and two weeks in the Summer Holidays and arranged at a mutually convenient time). This cleaning role can be worked in the mornings - 6.30am to 8.00am or in the afternoons –
3.30pm to 5.00pm. No formal qualifications are required, as training will be provided. We are strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Fishponds is in easy reach of Bristol's city centre while being near to local parks as well as a wide variety of local shops including Morrisons, Lidl and Aldi. Transport links including the M32, the Bristol to Bath Cycle Path and local bus services are also very close to the school. There is plenty of on-road parking. The school has a wonderfully diverse community which makes us both unique and special.
Pay is at the real living wage plus local government pension contributions. Pay is at £3.45 per hour; £4,801 per year.
