As a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant, you will become part of a dedicated and supportive staff team that works together to provide a positive and enriching experience for all pupils throughout the school day. Our lunchtime team plays a valued role in promoting the school's caring ethos, helping to create a safe, happy, and respectful environment where children can enjoy their meals, build friendships, and engage in play. This is an opportunity to join a school that places children's wellbeing at the heart of everything it does and where every member of staff contributes to making a difference in the daily lives of our pupils. 

The Opportunity

We are looking for dynamic School Meals Supervisory Assistants (SMSA’s) to join our hardworking team from 01/09/2026. If you join us, a typical week in this role may see you supporting in the lunch hall, engaging and supporting play activities, assisting in first aid and support behaviour during lunch times. Times : 11.15am-12.45pm Monday- Friday 

About You

You are likely to have gained experience in a school setting and in engaging pupils in play activities through your career or personal experience. You will be able to bring to us professionalism and enthusiasm, together with a positive and caring approach that helps create a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment for all pupils during the lunchtime period.
