As a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant, you will become part of a dedicated and supportive staff team that works together to provide a positive and enriching experience for all pupils throughout the school day. Our lunchtime team plays a valued role in promoting the school's caring ethos, helping to create a safe, happy, and respectful environment where children can enjoy their meals, build friendships, and engage in play. The Opportunity
We are looking for dynamic School Meals Supervisory Assistants (SMSA’s) to join our hardworking team from 01/09/2026. If you join us, a typical week in this role may see you supporting in the lunch hall, engaging and supporting play activities, assisting in first aid and support behaviour during lunch times. Times : 11.15am-12.45pm Monday- Friday
About You
You are likely to have gained experience in a school setting and in engaging pupils in play activities through your career or personal experience. You will be able to bring to us professionalism and enthusiasm, together with a positive and caring approach that helps create a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment for all pupils during the lunchtime period.
