SEND Learning Support Assistant – BG7 (TTO pro rata)
Contract: This is a permanent post to start in September 2027.
Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School currently has a vacancy for a full-time LSA for 32.5 hours a week. The successful candidate will be timetabled to work as 1:1 support with SEND pupils across the primary range. Experience of the classroom environment, knowledge of phonics, working with pupils with an ASC diagnosis, developmental delay and knowledge of Attention Autism and PECs would be desirable. Training and support will be provided as appropriate.
You will be joining a friendly, open, welcoming team working within the school. We are looking for someone with a passion for setting high expectations and aspirations for all children and especially those with SEND. Experience of supporting class teachers in differentiating a curriculum to support children’s needs and an understanding of approaches to develop self-esteem is important. Patience, empathy and a nurturing approach along with the ability to think on your feet and be flexible are all characteristics which will come naturally to you.
The role is for 32.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30 pm with a half an hour unpaid lunch break. Part of your role will also be a ½ hour lunchtime duty.
