Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs? Greenfield Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive team.

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. Your support will make a meaningful difference in the classroom and beyond. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
  • Assist with implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Adapt resources to meet individual learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with staff, SENCO, and external professionals
  • Support student engagement and independence

Pay range: NJ5-7 - £19,764.26 - £20,397.76 - FTE: £25,583.00 - £26,403.00 - 32.5 hours per week, 37 weeks per year - fixed term - 31.08.2027 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Good standard of education (GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students
  • Patient, caring, and empathetic approach
  • Ability to support children with a range of SEN needs
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
