About Us
Amplify Education is a newly formed multi-academy trust of 22 schools in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, created through the thoughtful and planned merger of TiLA and CST. A bold voice for Bristol, we build belief in every young person, expand opportunities, nurture potential and strengthen citizenship. If you’re looking for a Trust that is ambitious, reflective and collaborative, Amplify Education could be the perfect place for you.
We invite you to join our team at Victoria Park Primary School.
We are a vibrant, happy and successful school. We are a hard-working team, committed to achieving excellence in our own practice and providing the best possible opportunities for our children. We pride ourselves on our positive relationships between adults and children, our calm learning environment, and our belief in our four school values of Respect, Curiosity, Kindness and Determination.
The Opportunity
We are looking for two creative, dedicated, and flexible SEND Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team from 1st September 2026. We have two SEND TA roles available from 1st September 2026, consisting of:
- One 32.5 hr per week role offered on a permanent basis.
- One 32.5 hr per week role offered on a fixed term basis for one year.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
Working across a year group, you will be providing tailored support for pupils with special educational needs. Working closely with teachers, the SENDCo, and external professionals, you will help deliver, monitor, and review Learning Plans. Duties include supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development, adapting resources, supervising during breaktimes, and being responsive to changing needs.
We seek someone who is creative, resilient, flexible and positive, with a good understanding of how children with SEND learn. You must be able to form strong relationships, support inclusion and safeguarding, and lead small group activities. Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
We offer high-quality training in TA apprenticeships, safeguarding, SEND strategies and positive behaviour support. There are also opportunities for career progression.
