St Werburgh’s is a dynamic inner-city primary school with two sites in close proximity to each other. We are seeking the right leader to be our new SENDCO.  The successful candidate will be organised, efficient and have excellent communication and people skills.

The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships with colleagues, children and families. To be an organised leader of special educational needs provisions, systems and processes and to provide impactful support to colleagues. They will have high expectations of our children and work hard to ensure that barriers to their future success are removed. They will be kind, committed and curious.

About the role

The SENDCO is a member of the Senior leadership team.

The purpose of the role is to:

  • be a champion for pupils with SEND and their families, ensuring their voices are heard, their needs are met and they achieve the highest possible outcomes.

At St Werburgh’s Primary we all work ‘Together Towards Excellence’ for all children in our care, driven by our core values of kindness, commitment and curiosity.

We can offer you…
