Our School:

Holy Cross is a small one-form entry Catholic primary school situated in Bedminster, close to the city centre. Our school community is rich in diversity with over 35 different languages being spoken. The headteacher and governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated class teacher, on a fixed term basis, who will work collaboratively as part of a committed and hardworking team of professionals.

Job Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status.

• A secure understanding of, and experience teaching in either EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

• Experience meeting a wide range of behaviours and special educational needs and a desire to make a difference to children’s lives.

• A commitment to supporting all children to achieve their potential.

• A commitment to working within a team.

• A willingness to be part of and contribute to the wider life of the school.

• A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

• Excellent communication skills with children and adults alike.

• Commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos of the school.

• A willingness to undertake training.

• Recent experience as a core subject leader
