Our school is in the top 3% of most improved schools in the country when you compare our 2023 GCSE results with those pre-pandemic. In October 2022, Ofsted graded us ‘Good’ in all areas, and we are proud they recognised that: ‘Pupils are happy to attend Ashton Park School. They enjoy their lessons and the range of opportunities the school provides for them. Staff know pupils well and want the best for them.’ The report also commented that ‘Lessons are purposeful and learning is rarely interrupted by poor behaviour.’

We are on a journey to excellence and have a mission to grow great learners, great leaders and a great community.

Through our Growing Great Learners framework, we guide and support staff to become excellent teachers, but we also give freedom and autonomy to allow practitioners to be the teacher they want to be in the classroom.
