Bridge Farm Primary School wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support children at school with their learning. The role would be suitable for someone who loves working with children and is a flexible and dedicated professional with classroom experience.

What we are looking for in a Teaching Assistant:

· A variety of communication skills to respond to the needs of children

· Empathy and understanding children's individual learning abilities

· Knowledge, understanding and experience of working with children who have communication and interaction difficulties

· Strong communication skills with both children and adults

· An understanding of KS1 and KS2 curriculum

· Patience and a good sense of humour

· Willing to go the extra mile for the children in their care

· Demonstrates a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community

· Aligns with our trust-wide values by bringing a positive, collaborative approach to their work and a willingness to continuously develop professionally

Contract: Term-time only +5 INSET days

Term: Permanent with variable hours subject to SEN funding

Futura Learning Partnership is a partnership of schools which span 5 local authority areas: Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Bristol, North Somerset, Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Working together to provide a high quality educational experience for all students in their care and be a truly inclusive provider of 2-18 education in the area. We are a mixed MAT, comprising 6 secondary, 21 primary and a special school. We work in partnership with the Diocese of Bath and Wells, which brings considerable benefit to all our schools.
