32.5 hours per week | Term time only + INSET | Fixed-term (12 months)
BG5 Pay Scale: BG5 Salary Range £25,185 to £25,583 FTE
Actual Starting Salary - £19,340 per annum
Start Date – September 2026 following interview and DBS Clearance

We are seeking a caring, committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (BG5) to join our team. This role focuses on supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning, feel safe and supported, and make progress.
The role is not phase-specific and may involve working across different classes or year groups, depending on pupil needs.
The role will include:
Supporting pupils with SEND on an individual or small-group basis
Supporting pupils’ wellbeing, communication, regulation and engagement throughout the school day
Helping to create a calm, inclusive and well-organised learning environment, including preparing resources as directed
