At Knowle Park Primary School, we are looking for a resilient, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support classroom learning. You will be passionate about working with our children and making a difference, especially to those children with complex medical needs. A commitment to working across all the Key Stages is essential, but this role will be based in Yr5, moving up to Yr6.
Teaching Assistant
Work Pattern: Mon to Fri, Term Time Only
Hours: Part Time (30 Hours), 08.45am to 03.15pm
Contract: Fixed Term (until August 2028)
Pay Scale: BG5, SCP04 - 05 (£25,185 - £25,583) to be pro-rata'd
Start Date: 03 September 2026
Closing Date: 03 July at 08.00pm
Interview Date: W/c 06 July 2026 (advert will be updated with exact date)
We are looking for someone:
- With a passion and commitment to children from all backgrounds achieving their potential
- Someone willing to fully support children with complex medical needs
- Reliability and good organisation skills
- An understanding of the National Curriculum
- Willing to undertake training to best support the children in their care
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
