At Knowle Park Primary School, we are looking for 2x resilient, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support classroom learning. You will be passionate about working with our children and making a difference, especially to those children with Special Educational Needs and possibly complex medical needs. A commitment to working across all the Key Stages is essential.
We have 2x roles available and they will be in the following year groups:
Role 1: Reception and Year 5
Role 2: Reception
Teaching Assistant
Work Pattern: Mon to Fri, Term Time Only
Hours: Full Time (30 Hours)
Contract: Fixed Term (until August 2027)
Pay Scale: BG5, SCP04 - 05 (£26,016 - £26,427) to be pro-rata'd
Start Date: As soon as possible
Closing Date: 21 September 2026 at 08.00am
Interview Date: 28 or 29 September 2026
We are looking for someone:
- With a passion and commitment to children from all backgrounds achieving their potential
- Someone willing to fully support children with complex medical needs and SEN
- Reliability and good organisation skills
- An understanding of the National Curriculum
- Willing to undertake training to best support the children in their care
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
