Teacher of Design & Technology MPS/UPS Part Time 0.8FTE

Location: North West Bristol, BS10

BFS is delighted to offer an exciting Design & Technology vacancy that has arisen due to the rapid increase of GCSE and new A'Level.  You will join a dynamic and experienced team who will support you in the next stage of your career and the school offers two newly refurbished Food workshop classrooms. We are looking for candidates who can teach a range of D&T specialisms and we have expanded our facilities for all areas of D&T.

This is a critical appointment and would suit a professional who is ambitious for all students, committed to inclusion as well as continual professional development of our staff. We are looking for a teacher who will maintain the very highest standards of teaching and learning across the department.

What we are looking for:

• An enthusiastic teacher with a passion for Design & Technology

• Someone with a good understanding of relevant curriculum areas, including a good understanding of assessment and monitoring procedures.

• Experience of teaching or teaching practice of Design & Technology at all Key Stages. 

• A willingness to learn and apply new techniques that contribute to high quality teaching and learning. 

• A teacher who expects and demonstrates the highest standards.

• A teacher who can enthuse a range of students with varying needs.
