This is a critical appointment and would suit a professional who is ambitious for all students, committed to inclusion as well as continual professional development of our staff. We are looking for a teacher who will maintain the very highest standards of teaching and learning across the department.

About the maths department: 

• We are a team of 9 specialist maths teachers who enjoy maths.

• Each teacher has their own teaching base and does not teach outside maths.

• We offer a broad range of qualifications to suit the needs of the individual learners;

o Level 1 award in Number and Measure

o GCSE maths

o Level 2 certificate in Further Maths.

o Core Maths AS level

o Maths A level

o Further Maths A level

• We are keen to further develop our pedagogy; the majority of meeting time is devoted to this.

• Currently we teach in mixed attainment classes in Y7 and set students according to their attainment from Y8.
