Bristol Grammar School is seeking a part-time Workshop Supervisor and Technician from September 2025.


The Workshop technician is vital in supporting the Design Technology teachers deliver the course content and support pupils outside of lessons. Primarily they have responsibility for close supervision of students in the Design Technology department in the use of machine tools and heat treatment processes. They will also have responsibility for instruction of students in the correct use of resources located in the machine tools and hot metals workshop under the direction of the students Design Technology teachers. Additionally, the Workshop Supervisor will undertake regular maintenance of machinery and oversee risk assessment under the guidance of the Head of Subject.

We are recruiting a second person into the role as a job-share with the existing Workshop Supervisor.
