Brockington is a successful and popular 11–16 school with approximately 1,200 students on roll, serving the local communities of Enderby, Narborough, Huncote, Thurlaston and Croft, alongside a wider catchment. We are proud of our strong community links and the inclusive, values-driven culture that underpins our work.

At Brockington, our vision is clear: “learning to live life to the full.” As a Church of England academy, this vision shapes all aspects of school life. Our most recent SIAMS inspection recognised the strength of this ethos, judging the school to be ‘excellent’. We are committed to ensuring that every student is known, supported and challenged to achieve their very best.

This is an important stage in the school’s development. We are building on existing strengths to secure greater consistency, strengthen outcomes and ensure that all aspects of provision are aligned, coherent and impactful. Our work is focused on developing high-quality teaching, a well-sequenced and ambitious curriculum, and a culture where all students can succeed.

As part of Embrace Multi Academy Trust, we benefit from strong collaboration and support, alongside opportunities to engage in wider professional networks. This enables our staff to contribute to and benefit from both local and national developments in education. We are committed to developing our staff, creating a culture of professional trust, collaboration and continuous improvement.

We are seeking to appoint a Vice Principal with responsibility for Inclusion and Belonging. This is a pivotal role in shaping the culture of the school and ensuring that all students, particularly those who are vulnerable, are supported to succeed.

The successful candidate will lead the strategic development of behaviour, safeguarding, attendance and inclusion, ensuring that systems are coherent, consistently applied and centred on impact. They will play a key role in creating a culture where expectations are high, support is effective and every student feels a strong sense of belonging.

This role will suit a leader with a strong track record in improving behaviour and attendance, leading inclusive practice and aligning pastoral and academic support. The ability to build systems that are both rigorous and relational will be essential.

Above all, we are looking for a leader who shares our commitment to our values, who is ambitious for all students, and who will contribute positively to the culture and life of the school.

If you are an ambitious and values-driven leader who is ready to play a key role in shaping the next phase of Brockington College’s development, we would be delighted to hear from you.

If you would like to apply for this post, please complete the application form and equal opportunities monitoring form. The closing date for applications is Monday 20 April 2026 at 9am. It is anticipated that interviews will take place during the week commencing Monday 27 April 2026, with successfully shortlisted candidates informed by e-mail.
