Job Title: Safeguarding & Admissions Lead
Connex is an Alternative Provision offering personalised and bespoke curriculums to our children and young people who have a range of special educational needs. We support our Bespoke SEND Learners, ranging in age from EYFS to Key Stage 4, in small groups or as individuals, along with supporting them in their mainstream schools and settings through our Outreach Services.
Are you passionate about protecting young people and ensuring their success in education? We are recruiting for a Safeguarding & Admissions Lead, a vital role working alongside our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Senior Leadership Team to build a strong culture of safeguarding and wellbeing.
You’ll be at the heart of safeguarding strategy—managing referrals, supporting staff, liaising with external agencies, and ensuring every learner receives the care and protection they deserve. You'll also lead on admissions, working closely with local authorities and guiding learners through a smooth and supportive transition into Connex.
If you’re an experienced safeguarding professional with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to making a difference, we want to hear from you.
Connex is on an exciting journey of growth and transformation! We are doubling in size next year, allowing us to enhance our provision, support more children and young people, and create an inspiring environment where they can thrive. Join us on this exciting journey and help us to shape our future.
Connex is proud to be part of Brunel Education - a growing educational community with no barriers, only potential. We strive to significantly improve the life chances and outcomes for our students within our SEND, CofE and mainstream EPs.
