This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic and people-centric Education HR leader to play a pivotal role in supporting Brunel Academies Trust and its subsidiary company Brunel Education on its People strategy during a period of transformation. The successful candidate will be an experienced Education Head of People or Senior HR Leader, with a strong background operating at senior leadership level and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders.
In this role, you will work closely with the Director of People & Culture to make a significant contribution to the achievement of the Trust’s strategic People aims. Full details of this exciting and unique opportunity and the dynamics of this role, can be found in the attached job description.
About You:
- Degree-qualified or equivalent senior HR leadership experience
- CIPD Level 5
- Chartered CIPD membership
- Employment law including TUPE
- Education People/HR experience including payroll
- Full driving license and own transport – travel to our Swindon and wider Wiltshire sites is required
- Extensive experience managed and leading a team of People professionals at various levels
- Demonstrable breadth of generalist HR experience in ER, policy development, employee engagement, change management, codes of practice, legislation and project management
- Working and consulting with Trade Unions to achieve positive outcomes
- Utilising data to inform action planning to achieve outcomes and add value to the organisation
- Extensive experience of independently managing casework, advising on investigations and preparing for and attending formal hearings in relation to conduct, capability and grievance
