Exeter House School is an all through Education Provision (EP) for children and young people (CYP) with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs. We are a supportive and nurturing community for CYP, aged 2 -19. Rated Good by Ofsted (Jun 23).
We are looking to appoint a qualified Occupational Therapist (Sensory-Based Intervention Specialist) to work across our multi-site SEND school.
- Deliver sensory integration interventions to support CYP regulation, behaviour and attention
- Apply a holistic, person-centred approach, addressing physical, emotional, social and environmental needs
- Assess sensory processing needs using standardised and non-standardised tools
- Develop clinical reasoning to recommend targeted, evidence-based interventions
- Implement structured sensory strategies to optimise arousal, engagement and functional performance
- Design and deliver individualised therapy plans to support outcomes within the school setting
