This is an exciting time of growth for Brunel Academies Trust with the introduction of the Brunel Academies Links Programme and therefore we are delighted to announce an opportunity for the new role of Specialist Learning Mentor.

The role will encompass providing support and assistance in the development and education of children in our provision. This will be achieved through undertaking tasks both on site and off and providing supervision and mentoring to especially hard to reach students with a range of challenging needs. The role will involve taking sole responsibility for a young person and providing them with emotional stability.

We are also excited to announce a prospective opportunity to undertake continuous professional development as part of the role to enhance your skills and expertise which ultimately improve the life chances of the students we work with. Therefore, the willingness to undertake training would be advantageous.

About Brunel Academies Link Programme

Brunel Academies Links Programme Services offer schools, settings and other commissioning agencies like Local Authorities and CCG’s the opportunity to access support and therapeutic intervention for CYP affected by SEND/ASC /social communication and interaction difference (SCID) particularly where because of high needs, the CYP may be struggling to access their learning environment. Brunel Academies Links Programme Bespoke support can be offered from our bases operating offsite from schools and settings.
