Extended Services Playleaders required for;

  • Breakfast and After School Club (Term time only) 

Burlington Infant and Nursery School are looking to recruit additional staff for our popular Breakfast/After School Club for children aged 3-7, we are looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed playleaders.   You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and enjoy working as part of a team.

Salary: Grade B to C salary depending on experience (FTE £23,628 - £24,804) £10,599 - £11,127.00pa.  

Communication skills are key as you will be working in partnership with parents/carers and school staff.  We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with children and are able to organise and supervise high quality child centred engaging activities (sporting, academic and relaxing) in a relaxed, safe and secure environmentfor the children.  

Key tasks:

  • To assist in the supervision of the day to day running of the breakfast /after school club whilst adhering to policies and procedures.
  • To ensure the wellbeing and safeguarding of all the children and staff.  

Hours:         
Term time only 19 hours per week.
Monday - Thursday;     7:15am – 9:00am (Breakfast club) and 3:00pm – 6:00pm (After school club) 

Experience:
Previous experience volunteering or working with children in a school setting or similar would be ideal but not essential (all training provided including first aid and food hygiene).
