ROLE: Teacher of Design & Technology/Resistant Materials/Product Design Specialist
FULL/PART TIME: Full Time or Part-time available (0.8FTE)
SALARY GRADE: Teachers’ Pay Scale (Inner London)
REPORTING TO: Head of Cluster
COMMENCING: September 2026
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-qualified Product Design specialist to join our dynamic and supportive department. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving team in a well resourced and
forward-thinking school. This position would suit either an ECT (fully supported as ECT1/ECT2) or an experienced Teacher wishing to further develop their career.
The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, with expertise in product design practices, including CAD/CAM. They will be confident in teaching KS3 Design & Technology and GCSE Product Design. The
candidate should have the ability to teach A Level 3D Design. The experience to teach KS4 Food would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will benefit from exceptional, purpose-built facilities, a collaborative team, and excellent support to help them thrive in their role. This post is available as a full-time or part-time (0.8) role,
and is for a fixed term of 1 year, initially, with the possibility for extension.
