Burstow Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic Home School Link Worker to work 5 days a week 8:30am-3:00pm term-time only.
The Home School Link Worker will improve the life outcomes and opportunities for all our pupils and their families by providing a range of family support interventions and activities. They will also be a Deputy DSL so previous experience and qualifications in safeguarding would be an advantage.
What we are looking for:
Experience of working within a school setting
Experience of developing positive relationships and communicating effectively with Parents/Carers
Experience of working with outside agencies
Experience of helping to resolve complex issues with families
Training in facilitating parenting groups
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
Good ICT skills.

Start Date: ASAP or after notice is served
Salary: SPS scale 7 (£31,262- £33,321) FTE Actual £21,837.43
Contract: 30 hours per week 5 days a week 8:30am-3:00pm (30 minutes unpaid lunchbreak) term-time only.(38 weeks)
