Burstow Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic Inclusion & Safeguarding Practitioner to work 5 days a week 8:30am-3:00pm term-time only.
The Inclusion & Safeguarding Practitioner will improve the life outcomes and opportunities for all our pupils and their families by providing a range of family support interventions and activities. They will also be a Deputy DSL so previous experience and qualifications in safeguarding would be an advantage.

- Experience of developing positive relationships and communicating effectively with Parents/Carers
- Passion for inclusion
- Experience of working with external agencies
- Experience of helping to resolve complex issues with families
- Training in facilitating parenting groups
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good ICT skills.
- A reflective professional who is keen to grow, develop, and promote a growth mind-set

Start Date: ASAP or after notice is served
Salary: SPS scale 7 (£31,262- £33,321) FTE Actual £21,837.43
Contract: 30 hours per week 5 days a week 8:30am-3:00pm (30 minutes unpaid lunchbreak) term-time only.(38 weeks)
