The role:
The role can be described as school improvement and strategic system leadership. The candidate will be accountable for raising standards and improving the quality of teaching, learning and assessment across the trust. They will also develop and provide strategic oversight to BWMAT’s overall Teaching and Learning strategy whilst playing a key role in school improvement 0-16.
The role would suit a candidate with outstanding leadership experience as a Headteacher, Executive Headteacher, NLE or with comparable experience linked to specific expertise (e.g. HMI, Adviser, LA, Systems Leader), in rapidly raising standards.

Our academies are located across the South West covering three Local Authorities (Somerset, North Somerset and Bath and North East Somerset). We are looking for an excellent practitioner to support the development of SEND from our 0-2 settings through to the end of Key Stage 4.
