Location: City Academy, although may be required to work at other sites occasionally.

Under the guidance of senior staff, the ICT Technician will provide high quality ICT support to the academy. They will be able to quickly understand and support users and maintain the IT systems. The ICT Technician will be able to coach colleagues within the IT team and support in providing IT training. At all times, the post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role and contribute positively to the effective running of the IT function within the academy.
About you:
You will have:
- good literacy and numeracy competency (including GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above), or equivalent qualifications.
- hold a relevant IT qualification e.g., ITIL, or Level 3 (or above).
- knowledge of installation and configuration of Windows 10/11.
- knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware repairs.
- experience working within an IT support team environment
- good oral and written communication skills
