The Cabot Learning Federation is a diverse Multi-Academy Trust (MAT). We currently operate within the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset areas with ambitions to grow. We are proud to serve circa 12,500 pupils who all attend one of our eight secondary academies, nine primary academies, an all through provision, a studio school, a discrete Post 16 provision and an alternative provision which consists of one primary and three secondary settings.

Our reputation is strong both in the community and beyond which is reflected in the fact that we are oversubscribed in every year group and increasing our PAN to support this popularity, BBA will soon become the largest school in Bristol from Year 7 to Year 11. Outcomes are on a 5 year improving trend with our progress 8 score this year of +0.21 and basics 9 to 4 of 57% and 9 to 5 of 32%, we feel pleased with this improvement but strive for even greater outcomes which our students rightly deserve.

This role has significant responsibility for ensuring safeguarding practice within academies. This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.

The checks will also include an enhanced DBS check and a further check against the appropriate barred list.
