Job Title: Casual Teacher of Arabic
Salary: UNQ1 to MPS6 (£22,600 to £45,352 actual annual salary), paid hourly at £15.37 to £30.83 per hour, plus 14% holiday pay (equivalent to £17.88 to £35.85 per hour inclusive of holiday pay)

CLF Post 16 is seeking a Casual Teacher of Arabic to provide virtual lessons and exam preparation support for a small group of students studying A Level Arabic alongside their main programme of study.
The successful candidate will work on a casual basis for up to 10 hours per year, helping students develop and enhance their Arabic language skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support bilingual learners in achieving success in their A Level studies and enriching their wider educational experience.
About you:
You will be:
- hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), an equivalent teaching qualification, or demonstrate suitable subject expertise and experience to teach Arabic at A Level.
- able to deliver a high-quality curriculum within your subject area and consistently provide engaging and effective lessons.
- able to meet the needs of all learners, including those from key identified groups such as disadvantaged students, looked after children, students with SEND, and high attainers.
- a strong communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/carers and colleagues.
- committed to supporting and enriching students' learning beyond the classroom, helping them achieve their full potential.
- reflective and motivated to develop your own practice and contribute positively to the wider school community.
- enthusiastic about promoting language learning and supporting bilingual students to achieve success in their studies.
- for unqualified applicants, GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics, and an A Level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject are essential, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and progression towards teaching qualifications where appropriate.

About CLF Post 16:
The CLF Post 16 Academy is situated in South Gloucestershire, hosted at John Cabot Academy, and serves the students of Bristol across two local authorities. We are a centre of education for ages 16-19 offering a range of level 1, 2 and 3 vocational courses and a full breadth of A Level qualifications.
