We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Curriculum Leader of Maths to join our supportive and talented team at Winterstoke Hundred Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.

As the Curriculum leader of Maths, you will lead our department across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, overseeing the curriculum, teaching, and assessment strategies to ensure high standards of student achievement. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and support a team of dedicated teachers. Experience of Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential. Additionally, the role requires effective management and coordination across our split-site model, ensuring consistency and excellence in mathematical education throughout our school. If you are passionate about mathematics and committed to fostering a positive learning environment, we would love to hear from you.

Winterstoke Hundred Academy have students in all year groups, being oversubscribed in Years 7 to 10. Year 11 who were our first cohort of learners are a slightly smaller cohort and we have a thriving sixth form with students in Years 12 and 13. The development of the new building, which opened in 2024, saw us nearing capacity as a split-site, medium-scale 11–19 Academy. We celebrate the fact that, as a new provision, our culture, ethos and values have been ours to define from the beginning, and we are able to decide what is important to take with us into the future as we grow.

Not only will you be working within one of our fantastic academies, but you will be a part of a diverse Federation working alongside professional and inspirational people. You will be working within a large multi-academy trust which provides dedicated training programmes and the opportunity to gain experience within other departments and CLF functions

The academy welcomes visits from potential candidates. If you would like to arrange a school visit prior to the closing date, please contact the academy directly to arrange a suitable appointment.
