What we are looking for:

Winterstoke Hundred Academy in Weston super Mare are currently looking for a Deputy SENCo to support the academy on a Permanent basis.

This role will assist the SENCO in leading and managing the provision of special educational needs and disability (SEND) learning support for identified students in the Academy.  Support high quality teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of learning and achievement for all students in line with the SEND code of practice.  Ensure the individual needs of designated students and the requirements of any statements are fully met.  Deliver measurable impact on student attainment as well as personal and emotional development.  Will be required to deputise for the SENCO in their absence.
