What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Leisure Attendant to join our supportive and talented team at John Cabot Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.

The Leisure Attendant role covers various responsibilities and duties including, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the setting up and dismantling of equipment in a timely manner for our hirers.
  • Supervision of Academy Facilities to ensure safety, compliance, and good practice.
  • They will provide all visitors with a friendly and positive experience delivering effective customer service.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
  • Additional cleaning of the facilities prior and following use of school facilities by lettings.
  • Opening and closing of school premises, securely locking up and setting alarm systems.
  • This role is mainly lone working.

Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday between 4.30pm and 10.30pm. There is often the potential for overtime.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in the post, we are looking for a Leisure Attendant who will ensure the safety of those using or hiring the Academies facilities out of academy hours. They will provide all visitors with a friendly and positive experience delivering effective customer service and maintaining safe and efficient facilities through supervision and high standards of housekeeping.
