Job Title: Lunchtime Supervisor

Actual Annual Salary: £2,285 - £2,356

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £23,152 - £23,864 (CLF Grade Ai) based on 37 hours per week.

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until August 30 2026, Term time only

Hours: 5 per week (Mon-Fri 12:00pm – 13:00pm)

Your opportunity to support our students at midday ensuring they enjoy their lunch and play time:

Under the direction of senior staff, the Lunchtime Supervisor will work as a part of a team to supervise and support students during the lunchtime break. They will be expected to ensure the safety, proper conduct, and general welfare of students during this period. At all times, the post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role and contribute positively to the effective running of the lunchtime period within the academy.

You will have:

· good relationship-building skills and able to proactively engage with students and other staff members.

· strong interpersonal skills, in particular demonstrates empathy and active listening.

· the ability to deal with inappropriate behaviour in a calm and non-judgemental way, following academy guidance.

· patience, be calm and be able to work under pressure

· positive values and attitudes in order to be a role model to our students.

Priorswood Primary School is located in the Wedlands area of north Taunton, and we cater for children aged 2-11.
