We have a fantastic opportunity in our Nursery for a Level 3 Early Years qualified practitioner to join our friendly and caring Nursery team at The Redstart Primary School. We are looking for a new member of staff who can work Monday-Friday and support our children during their important pre-school years. We have a lovely setting with experienced staff who encourage independence and responsibility for the children utilising our multi-room space inside and two fabulous outside settings, incorporating Forest School principles.


Duties:

  • Assist in the educational, personal, and social development of designated children under the direction and guidance of relevant colleagues.
  • Support children by adopting relevant strategies and techniques to enable them to achieve developmental milestones, engage with their learning and achieve their full potential.
  • Takes responsibility for implementing planned learning activities/ teaching programmes, adjusting activities according to children’s responses as appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role.
