Job Title: Teacher of Maths

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: M1-UPS3 (£30,000-£46,525) Possibility of a TLR for the right applicant with leadership experience or ambitions.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for passionate and inspiring maths teachers to join our talented team at Tewkesbury Academy. We are a 11-18 school offering a range of courses at KS4 and 5. We are an ambitions organisation on a journey to promote equity in education and transform students’ learning. We are excited to be entering our second year working as part of the Cabot Learning Federation. As the only secondary school in our town, we are proud of our status as a true comprehensive and delight in the strong relationships we have with our community.

Each maths teacher has their own well-appointed classroom with interactive display screens. Strong STEM careers links and participation in national competitions mean that Tewkesbury Academy’s maths department is an exciting and vibrant place to work and learn.

A well-qualified specialist, holding QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree, you will have the ability to teach Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4. Key Stage 5 teaching experience is desirable but not essential and those with an interest in delivering A level will receive specialist training. We look for professionals who have excellent class management skills and have high expectations of work and behaviour.

There is the possibility of a TLR for the right candidate.
