As the ‘Further Education College of the year 2019’, we have an opportunity for a Trainer/Assessor in Dental Nursing to join our Oral and Dental Health department reporting into the Delivery Lead. This role is part time for 12 months.
You will be responsible for the training and assessment of a caseload of learners and ensure that course related documentation is maintained to a high standard. You will observe learners and complete observations of level 2 learners and record work relevant to this qualification. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the delivering of high quality NVQ assessment and support across a range of programmes across the Shropshire area.
To be successful, you will hold a Dental Nursing Diploma or National Certificate as well as a D32/33/A1 assessors’ qualification. It is also essential that applicants hold current registration with the General Dental Council. A Level 5 teaching qualification would also be desirable or, a willingness to work towards obtaining this.
