As the ‘Further Education College of the year 2019’, we have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Technician to join us on a permanent basis, reporting into the Head of Network Services.


The IT team support six campus locations that form the group of colleges - Sandwell College, Cadbury Sixth Form College and St. Michaels Sixth Form College.


The team manage the entire IT infrastructure, including Telephony, WAN links, LANs, Desktop Build, Software deployment, Servers, Virtualisation, Network Applications, Backup, Identity Management, Cloud Services and Security.


We require a Network Technician who is experienced, motivated and committed to the success of the college to join our busy team to assist with the support of our users


To be successful you will have experience of working in a busy IT support role (preferably in an education environment) and have hands on experience of desktop operating systems.
