Cadbury College is a leading Birmingham sixth form college, a specialist centre which provides young people with the choice of studying from over 45 advanced level subjects in an environment that is designed exclusively to meet their needs, interests and aspirations.

As the centre enters an exciting period of growth and development, we are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about delivering the very best experience to young people.

We are currently recruiting for experienced and inspiring Learning Support Assistants. These exciting opportunities are on a fixed-term basis until July 2022, with a range of pro-rota hours available.

You will be working with students who have special educational needs and your ability to develop trusting relationships is critical to this role. This role will require you to follow process but also use your initiative with the demands of the student environment. An interest in teaching and a desire to improve these student’s lives is essential.

These are excellent opportunities for individuals who have a strong understanding of supporting SEN in the classroom and able to demonstrate the wide range of needs students have in an FE setting that affects the achievement of goals.

You will be emotional resilience and motivated by challenge and have a passion to make a real difference to the education and lives of young people. Your classroom and behavioural management skills will be strong and you will have the ability to work with students who have a wide range of emotional and physical needs.

To be successful you must have at least GCSE in English and Maths to grade C or above, or a recognised equivalent qualification (FS L2), and current skill levels at L2 in Literacy, Language and Numeracy. You will hold a minimum of a Level 3 subject qualification and a City & Guilds 9297 Cert in Adult Learning Support or be working towards completing this.
