We are seeking to appoint a passionate Nursery Teacher to join our Early Years Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant, forward thinking and child led foundation team. We plan in the moment based on the children's interests and needs. We are well resourced with two nursery classes both with a class teacher and additional TA support across the year group. As well as a a highly experienced team we benefit from a spacious playground/outdoor learning area just for the nursery classes. We are especially proud of our woodwork, mud kitchen and large resources for construction and physical activities.  We are fortunate as a school to have a large playing field and surrounding woodland area which can be used for a range of learning activities.

Caldecote Community Primary School is a friendly and busy school in South Braunstone and has strong links with the neighbouring family of partnership schools. Our children are enthusiastic and ready to learn and our staff are friendly, hardworking and supportive. We celebrated a Good grading at our last Ofsted inspection which took place in Feb 2020. We are a large 3 form entry primary school so there are plenty of opportunities for progression and development.

We require a motivated, inspiring and enthusiastic teacher to join our school in Early Years. This would be an ideal opportunity to join us in our ongoing development. We welcome applications from ECTs and experienced teachers and offer a strong CPD program for all staff.

You will be expected to have:

  • A proven track record of consistently good or outstanding teaching
  • An excellent classroom practitioner who can lead by example
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding pupil progress targets
  • An ability to work effectively in a team

We can offer:

  • A happy school with a caring ethos
  • A supportive staff team and Governing Body
  • Opportunities for further professional development
  • Support in all areas of your work

Closing date: Thursday 27th March  at 12pm
