This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated professional to join our Technology faculty. You will be both ambitious and passionate about teaching Food Technology and bringing out the best from every single one of our students.
As part of our innovative and forward-thinking Technology faculty, our Food Technology Department plays a key role in inspiring the next generation of creative and skilled students. From Year 7 through to Year 9 and then to GCSE for those who wish to take their learning further, our students engage in an exciting and enriching curriculum that blends food science, nutrition, and hands-on practical skills. With a strong emphasis on healthy eating, food provenance, and sustainability, students explore a wide range of topics—from knife skills and food safety to pastry making and sensory analysis—through practical, real-world projects.
We’re proud to foster an environment where students grow in confidence, curiosity, and capability, preparing them not only for GCSE success but for lifelong learning and informed food choices. Our department is well-resourced, collaborative, and driven by passionate educators who are committed to delivering engaging lessons that bring the subject to life.
