About the Role

This is a rewarding role suited to individuals motivated to support children and young people with special educational needs. It’s also excellent experience for anyone considering a career in teaching. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

  • Completing paperwork to record observations and interventions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous classroom experience desirable but not essential – full training given.

  • Minimum of GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Commitment to personal learning and development.
  • Enthusiastic, focused, and resilient attitude.

Cambian will also conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will be based purely on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not be on the appointment panel will conduct the search and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
