Salary: £23,656 FTE, £6393.51 Actual Salary, £12.26 per hour
Hours of work: 10 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Contract: All year round, permanent
Start date: ASAP following pre-employment checks

Cambridge Park Academy is a student first school where staff are dedicated to the education and care of all its students. The Academy is swiftly developing to meet the ongoing change of population and a steady intake of students with more complex needs, mainly with Autistic Spectrum Condition and language and communication difficulties.
We are looking to recruit a permanent position to work as part of a committed team who are driven in delivering a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness across the Academy. Your role will be to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the school building by providing an efficient and effective cleaning service. Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Daily classroom and shared area cleaning
• Mopping hard floors and vacuuming carpeted areas
• Damp wiping all furniture, fixtures and fittings, emptying bins
• Maintaining toilet / washroom cleanliness
• Liaising with the Site Manager for larger seasonal projects
• To undertake relevant Health & Safety training
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
• Have previous experience or a general knowledge of cleaning and cleaning methods
• Ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks to a high level.
• Be organised and show initiative
• Be able to work both independently and as part of a small cleaning team.
• Take pride in a job well done
