Due to a growth in student numbers Cambridge Regional College is seeking confident and motivated Learning Support Mentor to join our diverse and dynamic team on a maternity cover basis until July 2021. 

You will be working with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of young people while promoting their social inclusion, self-esteem and independence. This is an opportunity for you to support students in a vocational area of the College (Creative Industries) and assist them to access the curriculum, participate in learning and fulfil their potential. Although experience of the Creative Industries is advantageous, this is not essential for the role. 

You will need to be able to use your own initiative while out in support of learners, dealing with situations with tact and empathy. The need to be flexible in your approach is imperative. Also essential is GCSE Qualification to Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths and experience of working with people with supportive learning needs.
