Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer – Media, Games Development to join our Creative Industries team in our highly acclaimed Games Development Department and our independent games publishing company, Rizing Games.

This role is based at our Cambridge Campus.

You will join us on a full-time basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of between £25,006 - £34,697 per annum, plus staff benefits.

About the role:

Our college is centered on delivering and developing an excellent learner experience on our Study Programmes at levels 1-3.

The level 3 course focuses on the design, development and potential release of games in the PC, Mobile and Console markets.

You will be expected to work collaboratively to further develop the Rizing Games enterprise and the Games Department and to embrace contemporary skills and promote industry practice.

Experience required:

Experience of using the 3d Modelling and Animation software for games development and animation/special effects is essential in order to be considered for this role.

Experience of using Unity and Unreal engines is highly desirable.

Additionally, it is desirable that the post holder will have a full teacher training qualification, however, the right candidate will have the opportunity, and be required, to study for this qualification if not currently held.
