Actual Salary: £23,290.80pa inclusive of London Weighting

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Tree Surgeon and Instructor.
You will be responsible for delivering and instructing and assessing on our Arboriculture programs. As part of your role you will be demonstrating and carrying out tree surgery on the practical sites that the college has access too. You will work closely with the gardens team and the academic team to maintain a high standard with in the college woodlands, farm and arboretum of tree works.
You will have a Level 3 Diploma in Arboriculture and Forestry or similar/higher, be comfortable teaching topics at to a variety of different course levels including but not limited to Tree Felling, Climbing and Rescue, Practical Tree Work Skills, including Pruning and Rigging, Tree Identification and be able to support students with assignments and research. Additionally, they will have experience working within the Arboriculture and Forestry Industry to provide up to date knowledge and capabilities to the learners.
You will supported to become a NPTC assessor and LANRA instructor and keep up to date with latest climbing and rigging techniques.
