An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Team Leader in Horticulture and Landscaping/Garden Design to join our Enfield Team.
The successful candidate will be leading, managing and developing a curriculum area within the parameters set by the Head of Horticulture and Garden Design. The candidate will work collaboratively and innovatively with staff to lead a culture of self-assessment and continuous improvement, promoting high standards of teaching and learning within the area, and producing high standards of student achievement, progression and value added. The Team Leader acts as Lead Internal Verifier and ensures all quality assurance procedures are fully complied with. They will actively ensure a high quality of provision in response to student and employer/industry needs and promote new ways of teaching.
The ideal candidate will will have a teaching qualification or willingness to work towards a qualification. They should have a degree or similar or relevant horticulture qualification and industry rated competency tickets for example Tractor, PA1/6. Experience of working in the Horticulture industry is also essential.
