Are you ready to make an impact at one of London's leading Further Education providers? Capital City College is looking for a skilled Learning Resource Centre Officer to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.

About the Role

This role is offered on a full time, term-time only basis, working 40 weeks per year.

The Learning Resource Centre Officer plays a vital role in supporting learners across the college in achieving their academic goals while fostering the development of a broad range of skills, including digital literacy and research capabilities. Working with both 16-18-year-old students on study programmes and adult learners, the Learning Resource Centre Officer provides tailored guidance, resources, and learning opportunities to enhance independent study and critical thinking.

By creating an inclusive and supportive environment, the Learning Resource Centre Officer helps equip learners with the tools they need for academic success and lifelong learning.

The post holder works in collaboration with curriculum departments, ensuring the offer is aligned with curriculum needs.

A key member of the Learner Services team, the post holder will champion learning and advocate soft skills development and their transformative impact on the future success of college learners, including its role in shaping their personal growth career opportunities and life aspirations.



About You

We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service. You should bring:

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency
* Clear and professional communication skills
* Confidence working with systems and processes, including experience in library automated and management systems which is desirable for the role
* A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
* Experience in a similar customer service/student support-based role is desirable
