We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate teacher to join our Emotional Health and Wellbeing Specialist Resource Base (SRB). This Cardiff-wide provision supports pupils with emotional health and wellbeing needs, and the successful candidate will play a central role in shaping a nurturing, relational, and aspirational environment in which pupils feel valued, understood, and motivated to succeed.

Under the Teacher and Higher Education Act 1998 and the Teachers (Compulsory Registration) Wales Regulations 2000, every qualified teacher, who is employed in a maintained school must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).

About the Role

The SRB Teacher will:

• Provide strong, empathetic teaching rooted in restorative and relational practice.

• Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching that supports pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

• Work closely with colleagues, families, and external partners to remove barriers and enhance opportunities for pupils.

• Develop and sustain a culture of reflection, professional growth, and continuous improvement within the SRB team.

• Uphold the inclusive ethos of the school and ensure the SRB contributes meaningfully to whole-school development.
