DEPUTY HEADTEACHER  (L19 - L25 : £65,735 - £76,141)

The Archdiocese of Birmingham, in partnership with the Governing Body, wish to appoint a Deputy Headteacher for 1st January 2023.

Cardinal Griffin Catholic College is a medium sized 11 - 19 secondary school, situated in Cannock, Staffordshire. This is an important time in the life of the College.  As a result of the appointment of a new Headteacher in September 2022, the Deputy Headteacher post will be additional to the existing leadership team, there is considerable scope for the responsibilities to be negotiated based on the skills and experience the successful appointee brings to the role.

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a creative and strategic thinker who can inspire the staff and pupils to be constantly achieving the very best, with a pragmatic and practical approach to managing the day to day running of a medium sized secondary school. The College is in the early stages of following the path of academisation, in accordance with the policy of the Archdiocese of Birmingham.
